Find your Long Term Care Insurer’s Claims Department

Here you will find contact information for the claims departments of companies currently writing long term care insurance, as well as LTCI companies which are no longer writing coverage.

This information can be hard to find.  Similar to mortgages being resold to new lenders, your long term care insurance policy may have been sold.  This is frequently the case when an insurance company makes a decision to get out of the long term care insurance business, and stops writing policies.  In fact, more insurance companies have stopped writing long term care insurance than are still writing new policies!  You would receive written notification when this happened.

If the agent from whom you bought the policy is still in business, he or she may be a great source of information at claim time. We are building a comprehensive database of long term care insurance companies’ claims contact information. If your company is not listed here, or if you have information that may be helpful to other people, please send it to us. Thank you!
